Club Capone receives Ignite

The melodic hardcore band, Ignite, will visit Club Capone. One of the most important hardcore bands will visit Costa Rica, which shows once again that the country is becoming more attractive for big events with international stars.

Air Quality in Downtown Heredia

A study by the National University (UNA by its initials in Spanish) in the central canton of Heredia showed that air quality in this city has deteriorated. The amount of exhaust gases increased 20%.

Jorge Herrera, the UNA expert who presented the study to the Presidency of the Republic, indicated that the quantity of pollutants in the air already exceeded the levels necessary for a person living or staying in that place for 12 months to start to get sick.

2009 Central American Student Games in Costa Rica

Costa Rica was chosen as the host for the Central American Student Games next year, for which the Government will invest ¢800 million in organizing. The money is already included in the budget of the Ministry of Public Education (MEP by its initials in Spanish) for next year.
