There will be a measurement of ultraviolet radiation that causes cancer

The National University (UNA by its initials in Spanish) will start to measure the ultraviolet radiation that causes cancer in Costa Rica. We have been able to read and hear about what can occur due to long time exposure to the sun, so the UNA will do this study to be able respond with scientific precision to questions such as: How many minutes can a Costa Rican be in the sun without it causing damage to the skin? Where can you be in the sun? At what time of the day can you do it?

World record with Gar Fish

Alajuela native Frank Mejias achieved a world fishing record by catching a Gar, the largest of its kind, after having pursued a world fishing record for two years.

Mejias said how it was that his uncle who took him fishing for the first time, and that ten years ago, he won a tournament only 6 months after learning to fish. What started as a hobby became his favorite sport and has led him to own a world record.
