Following her successful participation in the Latin American Idol reality show, the young representative from Costa Rica, María José Castillo, must decide what to do with her future.
With a signed contract with Sony BMG, she must decide between studying and continuing with her music. She has a chance of having a record without having won the reality show, which leaves her behind her competing partner Margarita, to start with the production of the same,
According to her father, Jose Luis Castillo, it is she who must decide what she is going to do. On the one hand, the ULACIT has already granted her a scholarship to study dentistry, and the University of Santa Paula has offered to give her voice therapy, this because her voice sounded mistreated after the contest.
María José Castillo said that it would be logical to continue with music since she has had good support from Costa Rica and she also had good exposure which is hard to find if not for the program that she was in.
But Jose Luis says that everything is in her hands. Let’s wait until she returns to the country and see what happens.
