Incop looking to build park in Playa Caldera

The Costa Rican Institute of Pacific Ports (Incop by its initials in Spanish) wants to build a park in Playa Caldera, Esparza and thereby provide comfort for its visitors. The project will provide parking, bathrooms with showers, sanitary services and kiosks located along the beach.

The park would have a length of 300 meters from the Caldera Bridge to the pier. It is estimated that it will cost $500,000 USD and the design is almost ready.

Restricting vehicle license plates in Costa Rica

Over the past few weeks Costa Ricans who do not rely on public transport, have begun to generate an opinion on the regulations established, in terms of the restriction by plate numbers in the capital.

In general this initiative, as we all know, is a "copy" of what has been done in Honduras, and particularly in Mexico, where it is much more aggressive regulation.

Arcadia University has been working with indigenous populations in Costa Rica who will be displaced by a massive hydroelectric project proposed by the Costa Rican Electricity Institute (ICE by its initials in spanish). Bridging the Gap Coffee, as the project is called, grew from the work with the indigenous people.

Private Universities are gaining ground in Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a country of law

Costa Rica is a very rich country in legal matters. We have so many laws and interpreters that we end up being an example for Latin America and the rest of the world.
